Why does the fabric become stiff after painting, and how can I fix it?

Stiffness is caused by excess paint sitting on the surface. Once your design is completely dry, simply rinse it gently with water. This washes away the top layer of pigment that causes hardness, leaving the absorbed color intact and the fabric soft.

How long does it take for the fabric paint to dry? Can I machine dry it?

We recommend letting it air-dry naturally for at least 48 hours to ensure the colors cure properly. Machine drying may cause cracking and stiffness, so air drying is best.

Is this fabric paint non-toxic? Can I paint directly on a T-shirt with my hands?
